I leave for basic in 3 weeks, and have been attending RSP so I feel like I'm in a pretty good shape and mentality. Then I go to attend 68W AIT in Fort Sam. Any advice or tips, or information in general so I know what to expect?

Know that life will suck for a short period of time in Basic but it will eventually come to an end. Do as your are told as quickly as possible (without hurting yourself). Keep your eyes and ears open. When you are in class and you feel yourself falling asleep (believe me, this will happen), get up and stand in the back. You will not be chastised for this. As for AIT, pay attention. Take copious amounts of notes and STUDY STUDY STUDY. Life in Whiskey Land (the area where all the 68W train) can be even more tough than Basic. Again, this too shall come to an end. Oh....and remember one small phrase. SOLDIER MEDIC. Good luck in your training, Doc.
