PVT Private RallyPoint Member 4005378 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>On the 25th of September ideas supposed to ship out to ft benning Georgia, I went through everything and passed meps, but when they did the final once over before having the last oath taken the doctors took my file and I later told me that another doctor forgot to write down that I had mild pectus exacavatum and tindea versicolor that they did not notice the 5 other times I went before, and they told me I will see a Dr for the pectus on Oct 3 but for a dermatologist appointment I still don&#39;t have a date. My biggest issue is I was living with my parents and they&#39;re were not proud that their son was joining the U.S. Army to go and kill babies and whatever they think the military does, so I have no home to go back to and I&#39;m currently on the street at 19 yrs old and I don&#39;t know why all that happened on the same day. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I should&#39;ve been more specific with my question, after reading my post it looks like I&#39;m asking for a place to stay.<br /><br />Would pectus excavatum stop me from being approved again if they didn&#39;t notice it the first few times as well as the tinea versicolor? It&#39;s so faint and I told the Drs that I used to live in a tropical area and that I worked out alot at a public gym being that it&#39;s one of the causes for it, all I need are waivers and there&#39;s no reason they&#39;d deny my after getting as far as I did correct?

Current chest wall malformation (754), including, but not limited to pectus excavatum (754.81), or pectus carinatum (754.82), if these conditions interfere with vigorous physical exertion, does not meet the standard.<br /><br />So the key phrase is &quot;interfere with vigorous physical exertion.&quot; If your condition does not exclude you from doing all the physical stuff the Army wants you to do...and will make you do....then you will be a (rather...should be) a GO at this station.

If possible see if you can have someone retired, like a General or COL that you can ask for direction on this. If you don&#39;t know any then try ROTC instructor at your local school and see if you can get anyone&#39;s contact.. Paying for you

I&#39;m not sure why that is a problem because it is usually a small thing that doesn&#39;t cause major probelems. I don&#39;t think that should be a problem. Unfortunately I can not comment on tindea versicolor. Hope everything works out.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Got off of here and go talk to your recruiter. They know the ins and outs better than anyone. As long as your condition is treatable and does not/will not interfere and prevent you from completion of the military&#39;s demands you should be good to go. Again, go see your recruiter as they can make phone calls and arrange what needs to be done.
