Outside of Google Analytics, I like to use Clicky.com and the Wordpress plugin Jetpack.

Like others have said, Google Analytics. It's simple to use, and gives a good graphic interface.

I also use Google Analytics, but keep in mind that it reports only a sampling of your total traffic. I also check my server logs. Not all hosting services provide access to them. I use iPage which gives me a complete report on demand and I compare these to Google Analytics for a better overview of what's going on.

Keep in mind that server logs only report the requests it receives from users for your webpages. Google Analytics reports what users do with them.
