If you are a mental health counselor, volunteer for The Soldier's Project http://www.thesoldiersproject.org providing pro bono counseling for Post 9/11 Vets with combat related PTSD...

As far as giving back, nothing as heart warming as this, but I do volunteer time to our local VFW when I can.
