<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I've never really been fond of calling something an oxymoron for rhetorical effect that isn't really an oxymoron. This is especially the case when it's done to seem clever or witty. Very few of the items listed on this thread are actually oxymorons; they aren't polar opposites or logical absurdities, but rather could really be true (even if only in limited cases). In the end, the declaration of something as a paradox that isn't in actuality one serves more as an illustration of what our biases are.
