But this one story tells me that we as a military need to rethink who we feel should be recognized to lead and train soldiers.A SSG who maltreated, assaulted, and pointed loaded weapons at his Soldiers on multiple occasions received a Field Grade Article 15 and was reduced to SGT and ordered to extra duty and restriction for 45 days. I witnessed numerous NJPs in my 10 years, many punishments of which I disagree on, whether too harsh or too lenient, but I also realized I didn't have all the facts.<br /><br />I believe this would most likely teach him a lesson or 2, especially in pointing weapons at others. Furthermore he probably won't touch one for a while
