Was there someone with whom you really did not get along with in Basic Training/Boot Camp? In AIT?

Yep, Divisional leader in boot camp. He could not march because he had a hard time with left and right. He could not even place his shoes under his rack correctly it was normally backwards and we would all get yelled at for it. I came back without the rest of the division one day and found a piece of paper and drew and outline of his shoes and tapped it to the floor and labeled it left and right correctly...when the RDC's saw it they hit the roof, but had a really hard time keeping a straight face while yelling at me. Best day of boot camp.

Honestly, I didn't like 3/4 of the guys I went to basic with. But there was 3 I really did not get along with. As for AIT, of my 3 AIT's there was about 3-4 per that I did not like.

SPC Margaret Higgins I joined at 31, the average age to join the Army is 21, you can have an idea of how many people I did not get along with... 96.52% I think I got along better with the DS than with my peers.

SPC Margaret Higgins of my Basic and 4 AIT's I can't think of anyone I didn't like, even DI's. However, I had two permanent party roomies I didn't get along with: one because he was a suck up that thought he was better then everyone else & was always trying to make himself look good through lying to myself and our other roomies (4 in a room total) as well as the NCO's and the other one because he looked & acted like Elmer Fudd. He got mad because people made fun of him and peed in & ruined my display boots because they were shinier then his. He had to buy me a new pair and got into a lot of trouble over that ending up getting kicked out partially because of it.

I wouldn't say didn't get along with, I would say a hard time coexisting due to different cultures, languages, and etc.
