Did anybody else watching the convention last night on NBC notice that Andrea Mitchell sounded like she was 3 sheets to the wind giving a report on the convention floor last night?

Andrea "Boom Boom" Mitchell at RNC
NBC's Andrea Mitchell at the conclusion of the RNC almost gets swallowed up by......balloons. Very funny
I didn't see anything at all that would indicate that. i like her reporting. She got physically removed from the Sudanese leader's office by two security guards when she asked him direct questions about the violence in his country. She also fought off the balloon attack at the 2008 republican convention. I think she is a great example of someone still putting in the work and being professional at age 70 in a field where most women have a short shelf life due to the appearance requirements placed on women reporters that rarely apply to men.

Mitchell: Clinton Scandals ‘Will Never Be Solved’ as ‘Conspiracy Theorists’ Want
MSNBC host, NBC News Clinton campaign correspondent and senior Clinton apologist Andrea Mitchell offered her latest Clinton spin on Tuesday during the Republican National Convention (RNC) by whining that the Clinton scandals ranging from Whitewater to Hillary’s e-mail scandal “will never be resolved to the satisfaction of the conspiracy theorists.”

I saw a little segment with all the on-floor reporters for NBC and it was mentioned how some of them have gotten very little sleep since the convention started as they cover all the floor activity all day and then all the nighttime primetime stuff. Then they have all the production stuff to work with as well. I think it is much more likely that Andrea was extremely tired, given she is 70, than she was drunk. She has been the total professional for decades. I can remember when I was an S3 sort of stammering and having trouble getting words out smoothly when giving OPORDs after getting little sleep for a few days.
