I&#39;ve often seen sites about it, and have always wondered why it was never recreated...I&#39;ve apsomwondered whynUSPHS, which has a provision for warrants in its statute, never sought to !take use of them.... I was in touch with CC office after I separated (1985) and entertained inactive reserve. Didn&#39;t happen, but it seemed like it was an alternative. My understanding, at least then, was that as compared to USA/USN/USAF, the PHS CC post-service reserve was not required after separation.
