I did not realize there was an effort my bad. I watched the Defense Sec. Ash Carter testify on strategy to defeat ISIS today and I can tell you it was not pretty, he and the General got their asses handed to them. General Dunford said last week ISIS is not contained right after POTUS interview in which he said they were.

I think that we should bring everybody home and let people who are really willing to fight take care of it. We haven't won a war since WWII and are not likely to ever win one again. While we preach about taking the high road and cry about collateral damage little men in pajamas, people fighting with pitchforks and camel jockeys with small arms and homemade explosives kick our asses. We may have the most expensive toys and the best trained troops but no one in the world fears us because they know that we won"t use them. We have been murdering American troops since Korea by sending them to die in wars that we don't even try to win. If we are not willing to do whatever it takes to win we need to save lives and money by staying home.
