Video: ISIS Reportedly Placed IED Inside of a Quran. What Is Your First Reaction?

A recent video (link below) appears to show Kurdish Peshmerga fighters finding an IED hidden by ISIS inside of a Quran. The video also appears to show the IED after it has been disarmed by a local ordnance team. It is believed that this IED was meant by ISIS to target civilians who may have been supporting the Peshmerga. I recall some pretty surprising hiding spots for IEDs used by AQI during OIF, but never heard of an IED being placed inside the Quran itself.

Kurdish Peshmerga fighters found an IED placed inside of a Koran. It is believed that it was left on the sidewalk to target civilians who support the Peshmerga.

The quran is a book. Paper and ink, a little binding etc. There is no reason for them not to do this. It fits their tactics well. Their outrage over our "mishandling" of it is only because they know we are so PC that their complaints might actually change our policy and they were right.

This will continue to incite other Muslims to join forces to fight ISIS. There tactics are going to major league explode in their faces soon or later. I of course prefer sooner.

Wouldn't this be akin to burning the Q'uran? It should be publicized throughout the Arab world to show the blasphemy of ISIS. Raise more ire against their horrific practices.

My first thought is that the Islamic State terrorists (thugs) don't pay much attention to Islam.

My second thought is that there was an uproar when Americans destroyed copies of the Quran. Where's the outrage now?

Not surprising... But also shows the double standard of their thought process... They defile their most sacred book.. Proof right there, but if it is rumored that we might have defiled their precious book, they target us and justify killing Americans, because we are guilty since we are not their religion.... They are boundless to the things that they stoop to to get their point across and the barbaric nature they carry everything out... And yet no one has woken up fully as to the danger ahead... They still think we can negotiate, hold hands, sing kumbayah, throw daisies and there will be peace on earth... Reality is they are inhumane and the only daisies we should be throwing at them are the daisy cutters...
