Vice President Joe Biden has issued a statement through the White House this evening announcing the passing of his son, Beau Biden, a husband, father, and a Major in the Army National Guard and an OIF Veteran; MAJ Biden had been battling brain cancer for some time.

All I have are well wishes to his family. No father should have to bury a child and this is the second one he has had to bury. My heart goes out to him.
