<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I volunteer with two different organizations in the veteran space: Travis Manion Foundation and the Delaware Valley Veterans Consortium in Philadelphia, PA.<br /><br />While these 2 groups are very different, I gain a lot of personal satisfaction by having direct contact with veterans. As someone who struggled some with transition, I see it as a personal responsibility to hep those who are struggling, either directly by talking and meeting with them and making introductions, or indirectly through working with organizations that veterans.<br /><br />Volunteering allows me to keep serving, something that the Army taught me was important to my personal well-being, sense of accomplishment, and my need to know that I am serving something bigger than me.
