He has been heralded for his courage and bravery both before the injury and for his inspiration afterwards. He has also been a good supporter of RallyPoint. After getting his MBA, he started a company called Spinal Singularity to help treat the medical conditions of others paralyzed liked him. I love seeing stories of veterans helping each other. I know of a local vet who has taken a whole lot of his time to find dogs for several other vets with PTSD. It both helps them and him. Sometimes even seeing that they are not alone, and that their military family still cares is the biggest benefit of all.
