Jody Mitchell has a hearing impairment and PTSD from her time serving in the U.S. Army. On top of that, a civilian injury to her head has impacted her mobility. Her service dog Ella helps make life a little easier.

The civilian in me says "How outrageous! That soldier's hurt. Let her in!!"

The veteran in me says "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR!"

The libertarian in me says, "Well, that sucks. I guess they don't get her business. But it is their store."

I think the libertarian is right.

She went around the corner and got her hair cut. We were not there, and do not know what was actually said...Jody, go to Great Clips, if you want to support Jody, go to Great Clips?

We are turning into such crybabies? 'They won't make a cake for me, I'm going sue them.' 'They don't allow pet in there but want my service dog...I'm going to go to the news and make them let me and my dog in.' When did we become a country of entitled douches?

Additionally, I have a LOT of questions I would like answered about Jody...she reminds me a bunch of people I know and I would love to see her DD214.

Clear cut violation of the ADA. Coupled with the salon owner's refusal to explain the situation makes their side (salon's) of the story very suspect. I hope everyone in that area boycotts that salon and they end up paying out the wazoo to our sister in arms for their violation.
