Veteran and Retired Federal Employee Discovers He Isn’t a Citizen

This is an interesting article from the New York Times about a Cuban Refugee whose parents unbeknownst to him never filed paperwork on his behalf to allow him to become a citizen. He went on to serve in the military and work for and retire from the federal government. I thought it might be of interest to my friends on RallyPoint.com.

Very interesting story. Seems he 'fell through the cracks' several times throughout his life. I would hope this is an extreme exception and that it couldn't happen in the current environment. Thanks for sharing!
