I don't know if this is on the same level. I did see another soldier I knew do this. I am just wondering is this is going to be trend. Does Zach really need a computer that bad? On a side note I don't know why anyone would try to use a tablet for military anything, beside RallyPoint of course. It's functional and I keep my leaders book in it as well. It's much easier to update and transport than a binder full of hard copies. Plus, not only is my tablet password protected, so are the files I use for work. The Obama Administration has introduced legislation for Equity CrowdFunding. The door is now wide open for Reward Base and Donation Based Platforms. People are raising money via the internet for everything from business expanion to paying bills. I'm using one of the donation based platforms with the goal of becoming a full time project manager to help the food banks in my area. Self entitled Soldiers using their position to attain pleasure or profit? Nope. I was digested by this one. "Hey my Apple iPad that I could afford to buy just doesn't cut it. Now I 'need' a computer for my military Soldier-guy stuff. Did I mention I'm a Soldier?"... Come on guy. You're making us all look like money grubbing, entitled fools. No patients for this garbage. I for one...do not. I have known many people who have made an account just to see what happens. This may be the case in this situation. Whenever you want to ask for something you have to remember that not a person in this world wants to hear what you want. This being said, if you are trying to accomplish anything, you need to present your idea in a way the other person feels it is benefiting them in some way. Think about what the other person wants. Do they want to feel better about themselves for doing a nice deed? Do they want recognition to show they are important or a good person? Maybe they are the type of person that just wants to know they did it, but everyone wants something. I have said it a million times, "It is not what you say, but HOW you say it".
