<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My MEPS was at an Air Force Base. Chow at their DFAC was better than the chow at the fancy civilian hotel they put you up in for MEPS, and it was better than any chow that I have had at any DFAC since then.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>They still aren't bad. In my opinion the Azalea I think it was called at Keesler was the best DFac I have eaten at, especially for breakfast. Scott AFB had a civilian chef who made some of the best steaks and ribs I have had up until the civilian cuts in 2013. I stopped going to the DFAC shortly after because I was on BAS by that point and I don't know if he ever came back. I haven't eaten at Whiteman's DFAC as I have remained on BAS but from what I have heard from some of the others it isn't too bad.
