Very sad news CSM Michael J. Uhlig. I hope and pray that the family of Cpl. Andrew Aimesbury are comforted as they grieve. Having a family member killed this close to Christmas and the other religious holidays this time of year can make teh loss even more devastating.
A friend and USMA classmate of mine died in 1986 during a combined training exercise in Honduras while he was assigned to a ranger battalion. He died shielding another soldier when rounds fell short.

I had the honor of preparing a 5 star meal with 2 of my other Ranger Cooks for the 5 star family. They were exceptional individuals. That's why I love this organization. We cater to not only the Ranger but the families as well. RLTW and R.I.P. Ranger Buddy. <3><1>
