Then take advantage of all the education benefits the Guard has to offer. The military works on their schedule, not yours, and the Army has not messed up your life. Quit complaining and work on solutions. That usually has a way of getting you the assistance you need. Also create a good, detailed documentation of everything! Go back to your enlistment contract and hold them to it. The specifics should be CLEARLY stated on your contract. Good luck and don’t give up! Create a comprehensive paper trail to protect yourself and don’t let them try to kick you out because it will probably not be honorable. They could try to TDP you, so get ALL your ‘ducks in a row’!Response by SPC Nancy Greene made Aug 14 at 2019 1:08 AM2019-08-14T01:08:05-04:002019-08-14T01:08:05-04:00SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member6690617<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You should have honestly waited to enroll in college until you have completed your training. Your life is not over just because you haven’t shipped and decided to enroll not knowing when your leaving. School is secondary so you should get your priorities in line. I tell my soldiers all the time school is not an excuse to miss training.Response by SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 25 at 2021 8:11 AM2021-01-25T08:11:34-05:002021-01-25T08:11:34-05:002018-05-04T18:40:36-04:00
