Some that come to mind are programs like the TSA and building more tanks for our asymmetrical fight.

The military is great at learning to do more with less. As long as the keep us fairly stocked on personnel we can find a way to accomplish our missions.Response by CPT Zachary Brooks made Mar 11 at 2015 8:01 PM2015-03-11T20:01:14-04:002015-03-11T20:01:14-04:00SGT Tyler G.525640

Our budget is still three times larger than the next biggest, I think we'll manage. We just need to learn to not be so wasteful with our munitions, stop trying to be the world's policemen, rely more on our allies to accomplish things (if at least some of them aren't committed to something, it's probably not as important as we think it is), and step down our constant worldwide presence. In other words step down from our current military superpower position.Response by SGT Tyler G. made Mar 11 at 2015 10:35 PM2015-03-11T22:35:51-04:002015-03-11T22:35:51-04:002015-03-11T08:25:34-04:00
