Their military is very tough and their Government doesn't play games. If they are after ISIS then they are after ISIS. Now saying that will they take the opportunity to hit a few Kurdish targets? Extremely possible.Response by SFC Everett Oliver made Jul 25 at 2015 9:25 PM2015-07-25T21:25:22-04:002015-07-25T21:25:22-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member844134

Prime opportunity for them to go after the Kurds. Been a thorn in their sides for quite awhile. They've already broke the cease fire they had with them. They will go after Kurd and ISIL targets. The Kurds are why they delay and largely have been uninvolved. In it they claimed that they will attack Turkey. If anything, to destroy a dam blocking a major river. But the dam provides much and more for the local Turks.

I believed them then. If ISIS said that they intend to attack Turkey, then they will. It's only a matter of time. Turkey's reaction will be to fight back, and ISIS will learn the hard way why they have had it easy in Iraq. They took full advantage of a country recoiling from a decade long war, and were able to acquire all the stuff they got. Turkey, however, has had all this time to prepare against their attack and will go in full force.
They should do something like Desert Storm. Go all out, hold nothing back. End ISIS in a matter of weeks... Whether or not they give up "territory" gained or not is on them. As I see it, Iraq and the Kurds can blame ISIS for it if they don't. Country borders are drawn on papers and maps. It's not like there's a line on the face of the world to indicate where one country ends and the next begins.Response by SSgt Brycen Shumway made Jul 25 at 2015 11:05 PM2015-07-25T23:05:02-04:002015-07-25T23:05:02-04:002015-07-25T21:14:33-04:00
