I'm pleased that this is to remain in effect. The rates described in the plan are very reasonable and should be welcomed by most veterans. Do civilians deploy for 6 to 18 months at a time and get paid less than minimum wage, when normalized to deployment hours? Do most civilians face the daily dangers that even peacetime military personnel face? This is outrageous...

It used to be that we got raises because we didn't get paid as much as the private sector. Now they use the private sector as a weapon against us.

Our so-called leaders in Congress, the White House and the Puzzle Palace have no clue, because most of them never wore the uniform. They are completely destroying readiness, and are breaching the faith with the promises made to many in my generation, for free healthcare for life. Instead, we got a 60% increase in Tricare copays this year, along with no longer allowing compound pain creams, despite the fact that they DO work...

These people are out of control.

They hide their address, but I found it. If you are frustrated with TRICARE decisions, write to:
Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense - Health Affairs
7700 Arlington Blvd, Ste 501
Falls Church VA 22042-5101

Or write your Congresspeople...

#NoIncumbentsIn2016 LCDR Rabbah Rona Matlow Sun, 19 Jul 2015 16:38:14 -0400 2015-07-19T16:38:14-04:00 Response by PO1 Shahida Marmol made Jul 19 at 2015 9:37 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/tricare-drug-co-pays-would-rise-under-senate-plan-how-much-pain-in-it-for-you?n=827885&urlhash=827885

I think the people who believe this is reasonable, fail to realize that most of the candidates this affects are living on fixed wages. Along with inflation of everything, they probably won't be able to afford extra co pays. These people have earned their free health care. Let them have it. Welfare participants get free medicine, and some never had a job in their life let alone served our country in any capacity. You want extra money? Charge them the $8 co pay PO1 Shahida Marmol Sun, 19 Jul 2015 21:37:37 -0400 2015-07-19T21:37:37-04:00 2015-05-29T10:13:09-04:00
