Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally don't care what ANY President or First Lady looks like. I look at how much respect they have for our armed forces personnel. I don't know any presidential couple personally, so other than what the news media report, I have no idea how anyone the occupies the White House treat their children.

SPC Andrew Griffin,

I was in Iraq when he first got elected. I immediately started to see how his election changed the atmosphere of how we related between each other. I did not like it and dislike it even more today.

Our country needs to be united because we are at war, and we will be ripped to shreds if we are too occupied squabbling between each other trivial stuff.

This was some of the things happening in the military within some of the units I was in before I retired in 2014.
In combat, the focus of daily life is not finding reasons to express our dislike for each other.

Instead, Our focus better be on those all around us wanting nothing but to kill us all regardless of our race, sex, or religion. All they see, in my opinion is the American Flag.

So, come on lets get united military community and focus on what is important. Our enemy is watching and will exploit us especially in the psychological war through our polarized media. Let's stop this.

I am an American citizen not African American. I was not born in Africa. There are citizens born in Africa that has become Americans. They deserve to be call African Americans. I was born in California.

Please just call me an American citizen. My definition of an American is one covered under our Constitution not my race, religion, or political affiliation.

SPC Andrew Griffin You ask excellent questions. The Obama family is a beautiful family. I'll give credit where credit is due. POTUS is a trim 6'1" male, with a great smile and he's intelligent, one could not deny he is handsome in his own way. Ms. Obama has style and grace. That said, I honestly don't think they are the best looking Presidential couple ever. I find Jackie Kennedy to be among the most beautiful women the world has ever seen. John Kennedy definitely married up.

I CAN and DO wholeheartedly deny that they are a beautiful couple or great parents, and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with their skin color. Yes, I said that because many on the left naturally assume those who don't like the Obamas do so because of their skin color, which is patently false.

As far as beautiful Presidential couples, the Kennedy's are hands down #1 followed by the Reagans, then Bush 43. I may get dinged for this but I will admit that in the 90s even Hillary looked much better than Michelle. As many have stated, beauty is very subjective and in the eye of the beholder. It also does revolve around one's attitudes and behavior, which I find it to very poor in regards to the Obamas. IF, and it's a HUGE IF, this is about their skin color then a couple very beautiful ladies I would put out there are Mia Love and Stacey Dash. Both are incredibly beautiful women.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and clearly you aren't speaking for everyone here. Beauty starts on the inside and what you are seeing here is a whitewashed fence that is rotten and painted over. That's what I see when I look at Michelle Obama...

Michelle Obama wasn't proud of her country until she became First Lady, and if she is, she's not that great at showing it.

I think it would be fairly safe to say that each President and his first lady have been beautiful couples SPC Andrew Griffin. The pictures we have of the 18th and 19thn century first couples are either in oil or daguerreotypes until black and white photography came of age late in the 19th century.
The most important beauty is on the inside which shines out of those who have it. Frequently the eyes reveal much about a person. If you look at the eyes of the current first couple you will see a mixture of sadness and love.
JFK and Jacqueline were much more beautiful than the current POTUS and his wife in terms of external beauty.
Many Presidents with children have been great parents including Abraham Lincoln who had so much pain and suffering is his life.
Some Presidents have been parents of young children such as the Obama's and the Carters. Most Presidents were more physically mature when they came to office and had older children. A few first couple's had the privilege of having their children get married while they are in office. It was not as ostentatious as royal weddings; but, those weddings of the daughter of the first couple still had pomp and circumstance

I judge no one with their looks. I judge them with their heart, dedication and loyalty to whom they are addressing. Heart you ask...how much heart have they put into The United States of America? Dedication you ask... to the people they serve under the oath of office. Loyalty you ask.... To the Constitution that they are supposed to serve.

They are human as you and I. They are in the lime light big eye of the world being our POTUS and first lady. They look good but they are no Denzel Washington or Halle Berry for a taste of beauty. Just saying and trying to be nice about it.

All a matter of opinion SPC Andrew Griffin, my brother from Newark. I think if you like someone, you see them differently than others. I believe they are all special. I would say JFK would be higher... Then the Regan's... But, are my opinions also driven by fantasy or opinion? Most likely.

I really don't understand the basis of the question. First off, beauty is in the eye of the beholder is it not? Second, does it really matter how good they look to you? Should you not put more thought into if the things they have done while in office made a good lasting impact on the nation? Should we not focus more on that then if they were a good looking couple?

I can think of around 30 First Couples that are more physically attractive but not one that are as lacking in Class. I do like the soda "pop top" necklace Moo-Chelle is wearing.
I truly believe there needs to be a Convention of the States and a Constitutional Amendment that is strict about personal records being unsealed and open. We do know Obama is a Muslim and has a list of treasonous acts as long as a roll of Charmin. Thank our Heavenly Father we are still the worlds' superpower. We are no longer a world leader Financially and other world leaders do NOT seek out the USA for leadership. All of this can be lain at the feet of Hussein Obama.
The Obama's are not beautiful people in any manner.
Ironically, know who has fared the worst under his dictatorship? All black citizens....
