If I were him, I would look at the facts and listen to the personnel who ran this project and take it to heart. Don't just blow it off. Look at the problems that occurred and instead of dismissing them, look for solutions that could correct the problems. If the problems cannot be solved, then do what's right.

Think if it is true that the leadership was already decided, then someone wasted a friggen crap load of money on this study for no darn reason. Fraud waste and abuse. Sounds like the study was just for show, so someone could say they did a study. Or just to be able to pin the blame if it all goes south.

Thanx Lt Conrad for posting this study. I will bet The Marine Corps will refrain from allowing women to serve in some selected combat units. Just a hunch on my part because I was discharged in 1961 & the world has turned over many times since then. So as always I could be completely wrong again.

For maybus and other flunkees in this administration actual results, when unfavorable, do not matter. They will not be the ones fighting and dying and paying the price for poor decision making.

Men and women should be very concerned about Maybus and his apparent dismissal of the overall results (even if he has not seen the details). Sons and daughters might die at the alter of political correctness.

When some about to be newly minted Woman Marine gets her orders to SOI, she’ll probably have the same reaction I did when I got orders to the then Infantry Training School -- horror.

But she’ll have a better reason.
