Thoughts on POTUS VAX mandate for federal employees being blocked by a Judge? They can quit and walk out anytime they'd like. It'd be unprofessional and highly frowned upon but they can. A service member is however bond by contractor and commitment to the United States military. Service members fall under UCMJ. Federal employee's do not fall under UCMJ. Their jobs stop when they punch out, well you get my point. The president being commander in chief has the finally say over the military I belive. Executive orders can't be force on the general public per the Supreme Court now. This is just my two cents. Not worth much. You have to follow orders that might originate from the CinC. As a federal employee, I can turn in my resignation and walk out the door whenever I want. You cannot. You are also held to a higher standard than civilian employees. The ruling did not appear to have an immediate effect on the Defense Department’s separate vaccine mandate for uniformed members of the military."

"What do we mean by federal jobs? Among the legislative, judicial and executive branches of the federal government, the opportunities for employment are vast. Politicians and legislative staff, civil servants and members of the armed forces are all considered federal employees."

"The Executive Branch consists of all of the agencies and departments of the federal government, including our armed forces (which are part of the Department of Defense)."

We may be federal employees but we aren't the same as civilian federal employees and everyone who serves should know that after a certain point in their time in service.
