SFC William Swartz Jr - If they meet the same standards (without exception) as male students, more power to them... they will deserve to be awarded the Ranger Tab.

I don't generally get excited when three people pass Darby. It happens every class.

I am happy that these candidates are progressing, but I'm also bracing for the troll parade that is certain to follow. Which RallyPointer will go ahead and start off the trolls?

Historically, the RAP Phase accounts for 60% of students who fail to graduate Ranger School. That they failed it twice, and went back to do it again from day one, took guts.

Champions are those who get up, even when they can't.

Now comes the Mountains, and Florida... and graded patrols... they have a ways to go, and many will still fall out... I wish them good health and good luck. SFC William Swartz Jr. Funny, because I asked CPT Private RallyPoint Member this AM if he had heard anything... as I was suspecting they should be done... based on the 23 June restart.

I will say that Benning really shows you want to be there. But the Mountains will prove you have what it takes. Mountain Phase is much more physically demanding. This is a result of carrying more equipment while operating as a platoon. I thought it was the most physically challenging. This is where you get your Ranger Legs. I will say that many didn't think that Benning was going to be a challenge to the women attempting Ranger School. I was surprised at the struggle they had. I am one of the many that was more concerned about Mountains. This is thought to be the most demanding in relation to overall strength. We will see how this plays out.

This looks like setting the bar high for women, and if they succeed, they have justification for back filling the army. Regular infantry is arduous, 20 years of that and you will likely get a VA rating upon retiring.

this is old news...
there was 2 female officers who graduated
one was a pilot and another was a reserve or national guard ... both were working on Re-classing Infantry
one was recommended for recycle
