PO3 Steven Sherrill, thanks for sharing the article. Even though WWII was a total and brutal war chivalry occurred at various times throughout the war primarily against the Germans and Italians not the Japanese. In the wars since that point there has been a distinct lack of chivalry to put a positive spin on it.
