I do tend to use Plastic Bottles but I should get me a nice Thermos.

Depends on what you are using it for.

Thermos if you need to keep something at a "conditioned" temperature, like using a milk product for a protein shake later in the day.

BPA bottles otherwise, for water etc.

I've seen numerous sources that BPA 'free' plastic bottles use other chemicals that are just as bad as BPA. I would do some research if you decide to go that route.

thermos will keep your coffee hotter for longer periods of time.. bottles get thrown away and even the BPA free ones will eventually break down
