The first part is a small questionarire to see if you meet the prerequisites once that is done the local office will allow you the opportunity to intern and get a good idea of what they do...at any time during the process you can tell them it's not for you and you can opt out SGT Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 16 Dec 2015 13:26:14 -0500 2015-12-16T13:26:14-05:00 Response by CW3 Michael Clifford made Jan 5 at 2018 9:43 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/there-is-very-little-info-online-about-cid-everyday-duties-and-life-of-married-soldiers-that-are-31d-anyone-have-experience-information?n=3228544&urlhash=3228544 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I served for 14 years as an agent, entering single and holding the rank of Sergeant and married two years into my 14 year career. Within 2 years of marriage, I was promoted to WO1 and retired in 1994 as a CW3. That was in 1994. My second career as an insurance investigator has me entering the Fort Carson CID Office on occasion.
