Thumbs up for reporting this... I saw it yesterday on my news feed somewhere else - but didn't think to bring it up here. This is sad and sick. The individual who did this should be prosecuted as if they had shot America herself, and if it was deliberate, they should be put down the way they put down this majestic bird and national symbol.

I refuse to believe this is an accident, more a case of ignorance. You want this to stop then max the sentence: one year in jail and $100,000 fine!
