I expect continued growth as the word spreads. I heard about the site from a colleague, in kind of a sideways manner. Word of mouth will undoubtedly spread like wild fire. The RallyPoint Team will probably be challenged to keep up with the growth. I think it needs to not be shared on the internet-i.e. I should not see threads on the open internet <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="605" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/605-cpt-aaron-kletzing">CPT Aaron Kletzing</a> (wish you could work on that sir). There is nothing that stops someone from copying and pasting, but...what you see here, what you say here, what you hear here, should stay here! I believe that combining all the branches will produce a lot of valuable information about programs and resources available. Professional Veterans understand the value and skill sets of other vets. <br /><br />Never let a vet be homeless. Google HUDVASH they have realized that some vets need a home before they can get clean, sober, compliant with care, employed and stay out of jail. Many vets qualify under the NEW guidelines. I have different points of view, advice coming from all angles, and countless years of experience at the click of a mouse. I grow daily from reading posts on this website and implementing changes in my own leadership style that I would certainly not have by simply communicating with my platoon/unit leadership, peers and subordinates on a daily basis. <br /><br />I think as long as everyone continues to share, and new members keep it professional and we continue to network and build relationships that RallyPoint could spread service-wide and become a commonplace for mentorship that's open throughout the ranks. All of us may agree to participate under a self-policing code however, Civilian Vet's and Retirees are the only participants with 'actual' freedom of expression rights. The Prisoner: "Bradley Manning" incident should have made this loud and clear. A valid question deserves truth, not opinion.<br /><br />Wait until the first massive data collective "Hack Attack" on this *network, then ask this question again. It's never "IF" it's when. I want to see it succeed. Why? The quality of discussions has eclipsed any others I have found in other blogs.
