The best DFAC I have ever eaten in, was the DFAC on Offutt AFB in Bellevue, NE. For starters, the line cooks asked me (as I walked up to get chow) asked if I wanted steak and eggs. Then there was the fact that the tables had table cloths made out of cloth. Then when I was done eating, I did as all Army Soldiers do in that I picked up my tray and was looking for the tray return. So, I asked a civilian employee of the DFAC, and she just looked at me and said, "Oh, don't worry about that. Just leave it on the table and we will take care of it." I was absolutely flabbergasted.
