Today, retired Brig Gen John Michel released his new book, "The Art of Positive Leadership" and it's already becoming a best-seller! What's more, 100% of the proceeds benefit military, veteran and military family charities. I was fortunate to see this book in progress as it was being written, and also got a chance to experience his positive leadership first hand when he was my commanding general in Afghanistan. Without a doubt, he was different from other senior leaders with whom I had a chance to servebecause his style was personal...and human. I'm a believer--and am posting this with hopes some of our community would consider reading this excellent leadership perspective and even leaving reviews on places like Amazon. When good, positive leaders like Gen Michel succeed through publishing leadership wisdom learned from military service, we all win as it improves the perspective and credibility of military members across the board.
