This is the first I had heard of an Airman being involved. Everything said 2 or 3 Marines. The number being wrong makes sense now but I wish the other articles hadn't left it out. Unfortunately this article leaves out the Marines, lol. All pieces but no whole story!

Col Private RallyPoint Member I agree with LCDR Private RallyPoint Member I would love to have known an Airman was involved and similarly would love for the AF to recognize that Marines were as well. The latest report I have heard was that an Airman, an Army Inactive Reservist and a civilian were the ones that took the terrorist down. The Airman was stabbed in the neck with a box cutter and the other two were uninjured. The three were friends travelling together.
