For me, it was seeing The Rolling Stones, Wings and Johnny Cash while being in West Berlin. It was being in the right place at the right time thanks to Uncle Sam.

Well lets see I have seen many, Toby Kieth x2 while deployed, Travis Trent Ft Stewert, Patty Loveless Ft Stewert, Lynard Skynard probably the best x2 Hawaii and Ft Leonard Wood, Paul Newman deployed, 50 cent deployed and many others that I can not remember but I sure appreciated them all.

While stationed in Mannheim, Germany. Staind came for a private concert for one of the signal companies there. Aaron Lewis had some sort of connection to one of the soldiers that was stationed and it was a last minute deal. Well, apparently the news wasn't put out to the unit, but my unit (the MPs) who had to provide security all knew about it and were invited too. So beside the 5 MPs who were tasked with security, there was only about 15 others of us in the crowd. Aaron Lewis paid for a full bar. Put on a full show, and then joined us downtown drinking all night with the rest of the band..

I got press credentials for two big races in NY, Florida and New Jersey (Wall Stadium). I still get credentials and VIP treatment at tracks who are the biggest supporters of racing anywhere.

In 2002, while spending a miserable year in Korea. Ozzie Osbourne came to do the Asian leg of his worldwide tour and he stopped at out base (Camp Casey) just to give the soldiers a free show. We were in the middle of conducting the large annual field exercise, and because my unit was still in uniform, we all got to be in the front row. It was an awesome show.

I am glad I got to see, meet and get the autograph of the late Robin Williams while I was stationed in Afghanistan. He seemed like a great man who really liked being around Soldiers and people. He seemed to genuinely care. His death was a huge loss to mankind.

I remember seeing Ricky Skaggs at Dhahran Air Base, Saudi Arabia in 1991. The one thing I remember about it was seeing seeing a General, I believe it was Chuck Horner, playing the drums.

I saw Britny Fox and Joan Jett when I was in Basic training in Ft Jackson back in 1989. Pretty cool. Got "smoked" later by the Drill Sergeants, but it was worth it.
