I have certainly branched out and tried the Pace Picantes, Habanero sauces, and the Salsa Verdes...but I always. Come back to my Tabasco. <br /><br />Do you eat hot sauce? <br />Do you attribute it to having to add flavor to the bland MREs? <br /><br />An awesome green salsa recipe that can be made in about 15 mins and is sure to please: 5-6 Tomatillos unhusked, and boiled for about 3 mins. Half a bunch of cilantro. Juiced from 4 freshly squeezed limes, and 5-6 Serrano peppers, and 1 small white onion peeled. The fruit of two avocadoes, Sea salt to taste. Throw all ingredients in blender (in order) and puree for about 1 minute. Served warm with favorite chips and sour cream. <br /><br />Post your favorite hot sauce recipe. That being said I have about 15 bottles of various sauces that work better for certain dishes, for example a habanero mango is perfect for fish. Smoked sauce is great on burgers and meatloaf. You do no have to be crazy to eat trinidad scorpion salsa but it helps. <br /><br />Pickled eggs made with Habenero is also very tasty!!! Be sure to add carrots, garlic, and onion to the mix. However, Tabasco was rare; more often it would be Trappey's.<br /><br />Today, I have a wonderful variety to choose from -- several Mexican sauces, some American ones, and especially Dave's Insanity Sauce.<br /><br />You apply that stuff with a toothpick, not a spoon.
