Suicide is a byproduct of that. Society still has not caught on that it is killing our vets by refusing to overcome this narrative that PTSD makes veterans bad people. Communities need to find ways to reach out to these people so that suicide isn't an option. Lawmakers and media need to stop pushing this idea that PTSD causes veterans to commit mass murder, rape, assault, or commit other violent crimes. Many veterans fear losing their rights for seeking help, so they get none. If we don't protect them while they're alive, we can't complain when they aren't. 1SG Cj Grisham Wed, 11 Apr 2018 11:24:28 -0400 2018-04-11T11:24:28-04:00 2018-04-11T09:46:36-04:00
