SSN No longer used on evaluations. How will the random DOD 9-digit number be assigned? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/ssn-no-longer-used-on-evaluations-how-will-the-random-dod-9-digit-number-be-assigned

In my education about the revised NCOERs, I learned that SSNs will no longer be used or is optional. What I need clarification on is: do we leave the space blank?

I heard that there will be a random 9-digit number assigned to soldiers instead. Will this be auto-filled by the EES (Electronic Evaluation System)?
