I became promotable at 30 months TIS, and got picked up at 60 months TIS.

It took me 7 years but I didn't try to get promoted. I only went to the board to get my squad leader off my back but then the points dropped lol

I picked up Cpl quick. It took 34 months to pick up Sgt (from Cpl).

Wouldn't you need to be asking Sergeants this question? But anyways the answer to this question lands almost entirely on what your MOS is my MOS (92Y) has generally higher points so it me a bit longer (about a year) from when I got my promotable status. Remember you need 3 years TIS to even compete in the board.

6 months from corporal to sergeant. 16 months from E-1 to sergeant.

I became promotable at 3.5 years and made rank the next month. I made sure to have plenty of points so I didn't have to wait. Also depends how the points are in your MOS.

Acting Corporal at 15 months. Hard stripe corporal at 27 months. Sgt. At 31 months.

That depends on the spots the Army has for E5. Usually it is faster during combat times.

It took me about 1 year after making Corporal to achieve E-5. The points were at 998 for a long time, then started to slowly fall.
