Special mission aviation: can you change what helicopter you were assigned to?

For a special mission aviator once you get selected a helicopter is there any way of changing what helicopter you were assigned?

You need to provide more info regarding service and MOS associated so maybe one of the service NCOs or Officers can chime in with an informative answer.
Most any WO or Aviation Officers should be able to answer your question. But at a quick glance, most SOF units hand-pick their personnel, (Aviators included) because of their experience, knowledge and background!
If you are asking the initial airframe request to another, Aviators are permitted to change once certain criterium are met or for the needs or the Army.

What service?
For the Army you can apply for WOFT.
Once accepted, you have certain criteria that assist in the selection of an airframe. Then, once you have enough experience and flight time, you can start seeking out the Special Operations area. It is possible to apply sooner if you possess certain prior skills.
I wouldn’t jump so far ahead initially. Also, provide more background information on yourself. It would help out the others with you’re situation. Best of luck.

Son-1. SOAR picks their own people, you can't request nor enlist for it. 2. Just because you pick uh-60's does not mean you can learn to fly different models. Hell a Master Aviator should be able to fly almost anything.

I would not look a gift horse in the mouth. If you get Army Aviation you go with it and do your best. I am sure life will treat you good enough.
