Or physical helicopter/tail number? But at a quick glance, most SOF units hand-pick their personnel, (Aviators included) because of their experience, knowledge and background!
If you are asking the initial airframe request to another, Aviators are permitted to change once certain criterium are met or for the needs or the Army. Then, once you have enough experience and flight time, you can start seeking out the Special Operations area. It is possible to apply sooner if you possess certain prior skills.
I wouldn’t jump so far ahead initially. Also, provide more background information on yourself. It would help out the others with you’re situation. Best of luck. SOAR picks their own people, you can't request nor enlist for it. 2. Just because you pick uh-60's does not mean you can learn to fly different models. Hell a Master Aviator should be able to fly almost anything. If you get Army Aviation you go with it and do your best. I am sure life will treat you good enough.
