It would be easier to tell which one it is if you could see the gun.Response by SGM Steve Wettstein made Sep 9 at 2016 8:55 AM2016-09-09T08:55:36-04:002016-09-09T08:55:36-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member1876527<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm inclined to agree with you that it's a T-54Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 9 at 2016 9:16 AM2016-09-09T09:16:48-04:002016-09-09T09:16:48-04:00SGM Erik Marquez1876584<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The round shape in the right side, rear makes me think T62. <br />The T-62 was in Afghanistan for the Soviet-Afghan War of 1979-1988. And stayed thereafter. <br />My first Iraq deployment, every trip to taja, we had to pass a T-55 that was being used by the ANA as a static guard position protective place and gun mount. Every trip it was all I could to keep from giving the fire command.. "Gunner, tank, front, acquire and identify"...lol Once an AT guy, always an AT guy.Response by SGM Erik Marquez made Sep 9 at 2016 9:36 AM2016-09-09T09:36:59-04:002016-09-09T09:36:59-04:00SFC Joseph Weber1876628<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hmm... I think that is the most popular model of Soviet tank.
