I think people tend to resent or show jealousy toward things they want or desire.

Greed can lead to evil, or preside at its core.

I think Ayn Rand was brilliant. Everyone has the capacity to become wealthy, whether or not the try; that is the question. The problem comes when people prefer the shortcut to hard work and sacrifice. Today, instant gratification comes before sacrifice, mostly.

Attachment and clinging is the root to suffering. Evil and good are perceptions. A storm can be evil to a child that wants to play outside...same storm is good to a farmer who raises crops. Within each lesson are examples of attachment.
