So who do you seek out when HRC screws up?

Here's a situation that I was talking to a peer of mine about and it blew my mind: you're flagged by HRC (code FA) pending review of information placed in your AMHRR. The flag date, just to give one, is 28 APR 14. You're obviously on a promotion list otherwise HRC wouldn't need to flag you. But your sequence number came up 1 JAN 14.

See the problem? HRC flagged you 28 APR 14 but your # came up almost 4 months prior. How does that happen?

Let's see if any of our 42 series personnel can weigh in on this as well.

Good question, let's see some head scratching and how the answers come up. I am a 19D, but it would seem the sequence number is priority, then flagged after promotion?

OK So did they actually get promoted in Jan? That flag code is generally accompinied by an email to the individual that is being audited. If he was not flagged in Jan then he should have gotten promoted (as long as there wasn't also a flag then), but that still does not alleviate him from being audited. He needs to make sure that he has all his paperwork in line and can provide whatever documents they outline in the email he received.

Wouldn't that flag (seeing as how you've already been promoted for months) affect the following rank?

This makes no sense. If his sequence number came up in January then why wasn't he promoted if he wasn't flagged until April? He's not telling you something.
