First, is your retirement pay reflect that you were an E-6? Obviously if that is the case then someone that matters knows your retired rank. If you can trace that back to the people or system that uploaded that information they may be helpful. Finally, have you contacted the NGB as well as your state Military Department. I was active duty only but I am the WA State Chair for ESGR so have a fair bit of knowledge about the Guard and Reserve. I wish you luck because you should receive the respect on your ID card that you deserve!Response by SP5 Philip Sanders made Apr 20 at 2023 4:18 PM2023-04-20T16:18:57-04:002023-04-20T16:18:57-04:00CW3 Private RallyPoint Member8242292<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Did you show them your old CAC?Response by CW3 Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 21 at 2023 6:28 PM2023-04-21T18:28:53-04:002023-04-21T18:28:53-04:00MSgt Mark Branch8243456<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't have a lot of experience with the National Guard, but I thought they were also getting DD214s when they retired? Contact your Unit 1st Sgt too so they are not surprised. The S-1 should have all your records or at least know where they went. They can send the “official” documentation for you to whichever clerk needs it. Follow up and don’t let them just tell you they did it. Request to be copied on anything sent or received by them on your behalf. If you weren’t full time you don’t get retirement money until your are 60 so you have plenty of time to make sure the rank is correct for pay purposes. On a side note, don’t you have your last Annual Pay statement? That would show whomever, MilPay knew what your actual pay grade is.Response by Lt Col Bill Fletcher made Apr 22 at 2023 2:30 PM2023-04-22T14:30:48-04:002023-04-22T14:30:48-04:00MAJ Ronnie Reams8244621<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your former AST would know your rank.
