Ensure your GT score is 110 or higher, and take a look at the in/out calls. My question is: Is the military no longer enjoyable? Or your MOS?Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 23 at 2017 7:16 AM2017-02-23T07:16:19-05:002017-02-23T07:16:19-05:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member2365610<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Is the Army no longer enjoyable or just your MOS is no longer enjoyable?Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 23 at 2017 11:14 AM2017-02-23T11:14:59-05:002017-02-23T11:14:59-05:00Cpl Justin Goolsby2366516<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Typically you talk to your career planner and submit a lat/move package. But if the military is no longer enjoyable for you or your family, I recommend getting out altogether. Military life isn't going to change just because you switch MOS. Of course if you're going from being a grunt to an admin clerk, your work hours might improve. But that doesn't mean you won't deploy again or work long hours or weekends, etc etc.<br /><br />Honestly, it sounds like you are burnt out. As my Gunny told me, the military is a hell of a good time, but the moment it stops being fun, that's the time to walk away. So you should ask yourself... is the military you aren't enjoying or is it your MOS?Response by Cpl Justin Goolsby made Feb 23 at 2017 2:59 PM2017-02-23T14:59:24-05:002017-02-23T14:59:24-05:00MSG Dan Castaneda2366576<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SFAS is always taking applications.Response by MSG Dan Castaneda made Feb 23 at 2017 3:20 PM2017-02-23T15:20:50-05:002017-02-23T15:20:50-05:00Lt Col Private RallyPoint Member2366820<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Try to figure out where the enjoyment went. An MOS change may help, but to know if it will help, you must first do a little self-reflection to figure out what your goals are. Otherwise, you might be chasing the unattainable...or just running from one problem to another.Response by Lt Col Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 23 at 2017 4:40 PM2017-02-23T16:40:26-05:002017-02-23T16:40:26-05:00SFC George Smith2367604<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>there used to be a way to petition to get a new MOS , re-class or re-enlist for another MOS when or Re-branchResponse by SFC George Smith made Feb 23 at 2017 10:02 PM2017-02-23T22:02:00-05:002017-02-23T22:02:00-05:00CPT Tom Monahan4922571<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As an Officer I was a 1LT (RA) BN S4 and fell in love with integrated logistics. The career field matched up with my college major. I requested a branch transfer form FA to QM. Best thing I ever did. Unfortunately I was medically retired 3 years later. Fortunately I now had a skill set that I loved and applied well in the civilian world. So, what do you love to do? Is there an MOS that marches up? If yes, try it. If no, you might want to ETS.Response by CPT Tom Monahan made Aug 16 at 2019 1:15 PM2019-08-16T13:15:09-04:002019-08-16T13:15:09-04:00Sgt Dale Briggs4922861<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>???
