And ya left out blueberry with chocolate ice cream, for some weird reason, my wife always nukes pies, puddings, whatever, in a microwave for about 30-45 seconds, whenever we go somewhere, she always has somebody do it, naturally, I can't stand it...groan...assault with a deadly dessert...I've gotta have all my stuff ice cold, which, of course, she, for her part, can obviously never fathom or comprehend...whatever...happy wife, happy life, yes dear....

Love apple pie, and the best is at Costco. Other places have been competing for years to produce the sweetest version and you can't taste the apples any more. However, sweet potato pie, homemade, is a rare treat. The last time I had it was about three decades ago when my daughter was cheer leading at a junior football game and the moms from the opposing team were selling slices of theirs to raise funds. I don't know how many slices I ate but I'm sure I outfitted a few kids...

I make a good pie, but nothing like, Triple Berry from King Orchard's in Central Lake Michigan.

Want it to die happy...? Heat up a slice and serve with Vanilla (with the bean fragments) made from the cream from goat's milk and a cup of hot coffee; vanilla bean steeped in the coffee. Roll some fresh mint leaves with the fingers of your fork/cup holding hand just before each bite or sip.

Pie eaters rule! cake eaters drool!

My wife makes a pretty good homemade pumpkin pie. It has the cream underneath the pumpkin (with some cream cheese to give it firmness and taste). Still put more whipped cream on top.

She also does homemade apple and cherry pies. Crust from scratch and the whole nine yards. Served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, pretty good stuff.

Pi Day. Einstein was born on March 14. He was 76 years old when he died. Stephen Hawking was 76 years old when he died on March 14. Written numerically, March 14 is 3.14 which is the numerical value for Pi. Coincidence???

I like apple pies, (esp heated up) cherry pies, pecan pies, blueberry pies and will be happy with any of them. I Like Rhubarb pies as long as no other fruit is mixed with it. Lemon meringue Pies are another favorite, i'm easy to feed I'll eat just about anything !

Pecan pie because it reminds of of my time spent In Afghanistan every once in a while we would get a food supply with pecan pies in it
