Since then, I've voted exclusively Democrat for POTUS though the decision was a very difficult one in 1996 as I genuinely like and respect Bob Dole, and again in 2008 as I like and respect John McCain. I don't remember what pushed me from Dole back to Clinton in 1996, though in 2008 it was Sarah Palin that pushed me to Obama over McCain. <br /><br />I have voted quite a few mixed tickets down ballot in those years, and prior to 1992 I voted exclusively Republicans.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 1 at 2016 4:59 PM2016-09-01T16:59:47-04:002016-09-01T16:59:47-04:00MCPO Roger Collins1855743<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>All Republican's chosen by the Republican Party (RNC), because of the really bad choices chosen by the DNC.Response by MCPO Roger Collins made Sep 1 at 2016 5:05 PM2016-09-01T17:05:32-04:002016-09-01T17:05:32-04:00SFC J Fullerton1855795<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Voted Republican since 1992. Interesting thing about Perot (I worked for his company.....EDS). Most of the electorate that was really enthusiastic about him, including my Father.......didn't know him that well. I read "On Wings of Eagles" and actually saw Paul Chappairone once or twice while working for EDS in Michigan. Ross Perot bought the folks he sprung from Iran in 1979, Superbowl type rings to wear. Another true story on the guy, the Executives at GM had a small video tape library of him giving press conferences in the lobby of the GM Building in Detroit after a Board of Directors meeting......saw it myself and had to laugh. Also I believe Roger Smith overpaid for Ross Perot's GM shares to get rid of him fast, he really was not well liked by GM even though a lot of what he said at the Press Conferences was true. "They <the board> keep saying everything is wonderful while the ship is sailing over Niagra Falls"......Ross Perot quoted from a GM Building Press Conference.Response by SPC Erich Guenther made Sep 1 at 2016 11:49 PM2016-09-01T23:49:28-04:002016-09-01T23:49:28-04:002016-09-01T16:33:33-04:00
