1992 - I didn't care much because I was 14 years old, but I would have probably preferred Bush

1992 was when I switched party allegiances and I did so rather late in the election (September or October, if I recall.

So I supported Bush for most of the run-up, but switched to Clinton in 1992 on account of Ralph Reed, Karl Rove and The Christian Coalition taking a dominant position in the Bush campaign. Since then, I've voted exclusively Democrat for POTUS though the decision was a very difficult one in 1996 as I genuinely like and respect Bob Dole, and again in 2008 as I like and respect John McCain. I don't remember what pushed me from Dole back to Clinton in 1996, though in 2008 it was Sarah Palin that pushed me to Obama over McCain.

I have voted quite a few mixed tickets down ballot in those years, and prior to 1992 I voted exclusively Republicans.

Voted Republican since 1992. This year, will likely be 3rd party since neither of the two nominees are qualified or worthy of the office in my opinion.

1992 I turned 18 January of 1992. I was living on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands, had no stateside address, and did not get registered to vote until after graduating in June of 1993.

2000 BUSH (voted Absentee in NM where a number of absentee ballots were disallowed)

in 92 & 96 Perot handed the election to Clinton... by splitting the Republican Ticket... and if Johnson continues he will hand HRC the election as well...
since 1992 the lame street media has endorsed and selected the Candidates the republicans were stuck with and going to vote for...
how we have ended up with Trump ?... One reason is because he beat the Media at their own game and another is good portion of Americans are fed up with the Career Progressive Politicians in DC...

I only have one choice/preference: a reincarnated Harry Truman. He may have worn a Democrat label (that was only because of Tom Pendergast), but I think Harry was really a closet Republican. Fact is, Harry was the most underrated and under-appreciated modern-day president I can mention. And he was a very wonderful neighbor: he and Bess at 219 N. Delaware, and me at 323 N. Delaware.

2000 was my first presidential election. Gore, Kerry, Barr (purely an anomaly, in hindsight he was kind of an idiot), and finally Obama in 2012. I was a registered R until 2008, but I voted D until I went full moron and voted for Barr over McCain, the one time I actually considered voting R. I wasn't convinced on Obama until he went up for reelection in 12.

FWIW, I'm on the fence still for 16. Hillary, as much as I want to vote for her, I just can't pull the trigger. Definitely not Trump, that's for sure.

B,B,A,A,B,B. Interesting thing about Perot (I worked for his company.....EDS). Most of the electorate that was really enthusiastic about him, including my Father.......didn't know him that well. I read "On Wings of Eagles" and actually saw Paul Chappairone once or twice while working for EDS in Michigan. Ross Perot bought the folks he sprung from Iran in 1979, Superbowl type rings to wear. Another true story on the guy, the Executives at GM had a small video tape library of him giving press conferences in the lobby of the GM Building in Detroit after a Board of Directors meeting......saw it myself and had to laugh. Also I believe Roger Smith overpaid for Ross Perot's GM shares to get rid of him fast, he really was not well liked by GM even though a lot of what he said at the Press Conferences was true. "They <the board> keep saying everything is wonderful while the ship is sailing over Niagra Falls"......Ross Perot quoted from a GM Building Press Conference.
