I have veteran plates for my truck and don't have to pay any extra for these plates just had to show my license, insurance and a copy of my DD214. I know that in some states the plates I have listed above you are charged extra for them. I like the fact that I don't have to pay for these plates. I feel that as long as you did your time got out under a DD214 that says honorable, retired, or medical discharge you should be able to get the plates listed above at no extra charge so you can place them on your personal vehicle with pride like I do. I look forward to hearing feed back from Vets and also Active duty it is your right to show what you did for our country. Thank You Frank J.
